BACK IN 2003, the principals of Chicago-based Graystar Development discovered a real gem of a golf course in beautiful Southern Colorado. John Graziano and Mark LoCascio played the course and couldn’t resist the opportunity to match their combined 50 years of experience in home construction with the acres of opportunity that lay between the fairways and the Rio Grande River.

JOHN AND MARK formed South Fork River Club LLC to build a neighborhood of townhomes along the 3rd and 9th fairways, overlooking the river. Graystar was able to apply its organizational skills and quality control to this project and raise the performance level. In time, 24 whole ownership townhomes were built and sold, paving the way for Riverside’s fractional offering in Fall of 2009.
